What is Endermologie? Endermologie is the most effective treatment for cellulite. A patented method from France by which massage of superficial and deep connective tissue is performed at the same time using vacuum and special rotating rollers. Drainage of the fluid flow increases, circulation increases, fluids and other waste products trapped by swollen cells are freed. The connective tissue is softened and its elasticity is restored. The treatment is painless, non invasive and non surgical. It stimulates the body’s skin, subcutaneous tissues and muscles. What is cellulite? Cellulite is most common in women and is partly genetic and partly hormonal. Cellulite is the dimpling in the skin that is also called orange peel skin. Over the years, the connective tissue around the fat cells becomes fibrotic and stiff and loses its elasticity. Since circulation decreases in areas that are most superficial, metabolism in these areas is hampered. Metabolic waste products accumulate and result in connective tissue consolidation and fluid accumulation (oedema) around the fat cells.
