Many people wrinkle up their foreheads more or less
unconsciously and so-called frown lines appear because
of muscular contractions. These wrinkles can be
successfully treated with Botox injections in the overly
tense muscles. This causes the muscles to relax at the
same time as the skin and wrinkles are smoothed out. The
effect sets in during the first week following injection
and remains for 2-6 months. Botox (botulinum toxin) has
been used in medical contexts since the 1980s and for
