A facelift involves removing surplus skin so that the
skin is stretched both on the neck and cheeks. The operation is done under general anaesthesia. The stitches are removed seven to ten days after the operation. Swelling and bruising can be present for up to three to four weeks. After a week any bruising can be concealed with makeup. |
